What to do if you are concerned about somebody

Children and adults deserve the best care that the Church can provide. Please call 999 if a child or adult is in immediate danger of significant or serious harm. If the person isn’t in immediate danger then please contact a member of the safeguarding team or a member of the clergy.

If you are unable to contact any of the above or your concern is related to a member of clergy or staff working at the church, then please contact a member of the independent Diocesan Safeguarding Team on 024 7652 1345.  Out of office hours, calls to this number will be diverted to the Diocesan 24-hour helpline.

For all other safeguarding matters including training, resources and policies, please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team through the their website.
